This recognised course was developed to assist industry in particular companies maintaining their own gas installations and appliances on site to comply with all 7 conditions attached to a Gasfitting Authorisation and meet Building and Energy’s Training Plan requirements.
The Gasfitting Legislation and Safety Course for "Supervised Gas Fitters" provides a basic understanding for unlicensed personnel (typically welders, pipe fitters, mechanical fitters, electricians, instrument technicians, etc) of their role and statutory obligations under gasfitting legislation in WA and general gas safety.
